Hashtag No Makeup
Makeup is definitely not a necessity. We love using it to try new things and make ourselves feel better but going a day without a drop of makeup on is always a good thing. A naked face is a beautiful face. Although I understand sometimes it could be hard, I encourage you to walk out of the house with a nakey face, it's freeing (almost as freeing as taking your bra off at the end of the day) and you're able to rub your eyes without worrying that you're about to look like a crazy panda! (you all know what I mean) Recently I've been seeing memes about before and after pictures of girls with and without makeup on with the caption "makeup causes trust issues". UM EXCUSE ME NO. What causes trust issues is girls seeing this s#!t and thinking that they can't go out without a pound of makeup on because guys won't think they're pretty. NEWS FLASH BOYZ we're not on this planet to please you or make sure our makeup is fitting to YOUR standards. #nomakeup revolution. Let's see those beautiful naked (faced) selfies!

Everyday Makeup
When I have some extra time I like to go a little crazy and try some new looks like in my pervious posts but for my everyday look I go for something a little more neutral and basic! For some people this look may even be too much for an everyday affair but I love the way it looks and it's created using only one palette. This has you looking like you put lots of effort in but in reality it's super easy!

Basic Smokey Eyez
Now I'm gonna be really honest; smokey eyes kind of terrify me. This was the first time I tried and and I'm SO happy with how it came out. I took inspiration from a pin I found on Pinterest that you can find here. I've always thought they would make me look like a trampy raccoon (HA) but I just bit the bullet and tried it!

Navy Liner
Winged liner is my thaaaang.... I think it makes the eyes look elongated and more put together and literally complements SO many eye shapes. I tried out a new look with this navy liner and I'm loving it. Its subtle but still a noticeable difference. Colored liners can turn a look into something completely new. I paired this navy liner with a coral colored lipstick and it just makes the whole look pop a little more. With spring FINALLY here its fun to try out some more daring and bright lip colors. Coral is my favorite go to color in the spring because it just seems to bring life to my face and the fact that there are so many shades of corals that can complement so many skin tones makes it that much better!

New Blogger?
Makeup is something that everyone should have a chance to play with and discover. Not to cover up our natural beauty but to enhance it and it give us a chance to create new looks and try something new without breaking the bank. I have only recently gotten more into makeup and trying out new things. This blog was created for me to write reviews, do some tutorials and answer questions that anyone may have. Makeup and creativity go hand in hand and everyone has some creativity in them, if you've been wanting to try a new look but are too afraid of what others may think here's what I have to say about that; SCREW EM. Do what you want to do and you'll find something you'll love. Now put down that fear of something new and pick up that bright blue eyeshadow and rock that new look.
